Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved the Old Fire Station. Not a drop of rain all week - we have been so lucky.

A wonderful stay in this 'love nest'. Had sunshine all week!! Seen lots of birds - 45. Would have loved to see more. Would love to come back.Christine from Surrey, UK -April 2016
The old fire station had been renovated to a very high standard and was extremely comfortable, the location was superb, looking out over Loch Dunvegan and MacLeod's tables. The facilities in and around the village were very good and we only ventured out of the village on one evening to visit the renowned Stein Inn for a meal, which was excellent. The owner Syd was a very nice and helpful person but left us alone unless we contacted him. We did a lot of sight-seeing and a lot of walking, including the Cuillin Hills. The Isle of Skye is a wonderful place to holiday, no doubt we will be back.Robert from Lancashire, UK -
The cottage was better than I ever could have imagined, even after reading the previous glowing reviews. Extremely clean, cosy and well equipped, and the owner was very friendly when he greeted us on arrival. We had a fantastic time and hope to return some day.Angus from Edinburgh, UK -March 2016

A great base to tour the island with everything that was needed. We cooked meals every day in the well equipped kitchen. It is very clean and warm even on a damp day and the owner is at close hand if needed (we never needed to contact him). I would definitely recommend the Old Fire Station to friends.Elizabeth from Durham, UK -October 2015

We stayed for a week at the 'Station' and it could not have been better. It was comfortable, spacious for two, everything in it that we needed and a great location. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. A great introduction to Skye. Thank you Syd for providing a fabulous cottage and a great welcome.Helen from Cambridge, UK -August 2015
The Old Fire Station is a wonderful holiday cottage with everything you could want. It's cosy, comfortable, spacious and well resourced. The perfect retreat to return to after a day in the beautiful outdoors with a view that was always interesting regardless of the weather when you are indoors. The owner is very welcoming and has thought of everything. He lives next door so is easily on hand but never intruded. The local store looks modest from the outside but had everything we needed and more. I recommend booking a table at the old school restaurant - delicious.
Your wonderful, cosy cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday on Skye. We enjoyed every single day and will recommend the cottage to our friends and family. We will miss Skye but hopefully come back one day.Daniela & Björn from Mainz, Germany -August 2015
